After an early breakfast, embark on a one-hour drive to Turrialba Volcano’s slopes to explore the history of Theobroma Cacao—the “food of the gods.” Wander through the farm’s lush trails, then participate in a hands-on workshop at the post-harvest center, where you’ll craft your own chocolate treats from freshly roasted cacao beans. Savor a delicious lunch at the farm before returning to Pacuare Lodge.
