Day 1: Arrive at  Hacienda Tayutic and enjoy the spectacular  view of the Turrialba valley . Experience the daily life of a traditional working farm and taste the delicious gourmet family food and  unique recipes; in a cozy and peaceful atmosphere.

Day 2: After a delicious breakfast, join your guide for an exciting morning on the Hacienda Tayutic Tour  and learn about the production  of local products such as macadamia, sugar cane and coffee.  B & L

Day 3: 9:00am  Pick–up at Hacienda Tayutic  and transfer for approximately 30 minutes to the  Pacuare River put-in .Exciting 1:30 hour river rafting tour to the Pacuare Lodge (class II-III rapids) where you will enjoy a two night stay at Costa Rica’s premier eco-lodge. Arrival at the Pacuare Lodge 12:00-1:00 pm. After lunch participate on a hike to a nearby waterfall, or simply relax in your private bungalow or suite. Dine on gourmet delicacies by candlelight and then visit our upstairs lounge for a cocktail or refreshment before retiring to a restful night’s sleep. (B, L, D)

Day 4: You’ll wake up to bird song and the soothing sound of the river nearby. Then head over to the main lodge for a delicious breakfast of home-made bread, tropical fruits, yogurt, eggs, pancakes, cereal and juice and coffee. Choose from exciting optional tours (not included in the price) that include guided hikes through an emerald rainforest, the Cabecar Indian hike, , our Adventure Canopy Tour, our Pacuare Canyoning  tour , El Bajo del Tigre Horseback Ride or relax with one of our special spa treatments. Day 5: Departure between 9:00-10:00 am. In the morning you will depart by raft for an even more fun–filled day of white water rafting excitement (approximately 3:30 hours over class III-IV rapids), including a delicious picnic lunch along the river. At our river take–out you will have a chance to change at our private facilities before being transferred by private minibus or drive your car rental (depending on preference) to Le Caméléon Boutique Hotel located in PuertoViejo, Limon. (B, deli–style lunch along the river). Overnight at Le Caméléon.

Day 6: Relax and enjoy the Caribbean life style! Puerto Viejo has it all: walk on the pristine beaches, explore the flora and fauna in Gandoca –Manzanillo wildlife refuge, snorkel or dive among the reefs in crystal clear waters, world–class surfing, mountain biking, kayaking and cultural visits to indigenous communities (Breakfast Included). Overnight at Le Caméléon Hotel.

Day 7: Check out at 12 noon and drive back to San Jose. (Breakfast included).
