Set high on a lush jungle hilltop overlooking the main lodge, our newly renovated honeymoon retreat offers newlyweds and nature-lovers alike, an exclusive haven in which to surrender to the romantic spell of the Pacuare rainforest.

A cobbled path leads you and your partner from the main lodge up to a knoll overlooking the other facilities. Along the way the jungle whispers and hums with exotic harmonies and rhythms—the soft cooing of a keel-billed toucan or perhaps the exotic and bubbly crescendo of the Montezuma Oropendola, whose large teardrop shaped nest dangles from a towering treetop nearby.
Arriving at the suite you are ushered into an exquisitely appointed palm-thatched bungalow with wide screened windows, teak floors, hand-crafted rattan wicker chairs and plenty of natural light. A king size canopy bed with crisp 300-thread Egyptian cotton linens is perfectly situated to offer you a nearly 360 degree panoramic view of the rainforest as it plunges to the river below.

Just steps from your bed a double hammock and canopy rattan sofa sit atop a pine-wood deck that literally melts into the thick tropical forest that rises up from the mountains across the river. Sit back and glimpse the zone’s hidden treasures, including colorful hummingbirds as they alight for an instant before flitting again into the verdant jungle beyond.  

The 1290 ft² (120m² ) suite has, in addition, a teak floor ensuite bathroom with a solar heated shower and two hand-painted ceramic water basins set in a marble sink top. Nearby, a hardwood deck opens onto a magnificent alfresco shower ensconced within the rich vegetation that seemingly cascades down the mountainside. The soft patter of the water mixes with the captivating sounds of nature to create a truly exotic sensory experience.

Experience the tranquility of the early morning silence, serenaded by the native bird life in the soft morning sun. Step into your spring-fed infinity pool overlooking a sea of emerald green. Soaking and submerged to the chin, it is a time for relaxation and sensual pleasures.

In the evening, candlelight dances and flickers off the arched wild-cane ceiling, castinhg a magical glow as the soothing rhythm of nature envelops and cradles you gently in its arms.

A one hundred and twenty foot hanging bridge will lead you from your bungalow deck to a platform high in a towering tree, whose roots are grounded in the main camp far below.
