Pacuare Lodge - Arenal - Manuel Antonio Take a journey on the wild side as you explore some of Costa Rica’s most biologically diverse tropical rainforests, an active volcano and unspoiled beaches.
Day 1: Transfer to your city hotel. Overnight at Grano de Oro Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Pacuare River Rafting: Exciting 1-1½ hour river rafting tour to the Pacuare Lodge (class II-III rapids) where you will enjoy a two night stay at Pacuare Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Optional Tour at Pacuare Lodge:Choose from exciting optional tours (not included in the price) that include guided hikes through an emerald rainforest, the Cabecar Indian tour our Pacuare Adventure Canopy Tour, Tropical Canyoning Tour, Bajos del Tigre Horseback Ride, or Spa Treatment. Overnight at Pacuare Lodge. (B,L,D).
Day 4: Pacuare River Rafting and transfer to Arenal: Depart by raft for an even more fun-filled day of white water rafting excitement (approximately 3½ hours over class III-IV rapids. Transfer by private minibus to the Arenal Volcano area (about 3 ½ hours). Overnight at Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort or similar. (B & L)
Day 5: Arenal Hanging Bridges: You will experience this natural paradise as you walk along a three kilometer trail that includes 15 bridges that allow you to experience the forest from the ground (like a Jaguar) from the middle (like a Monkey) and from the treetops (like an Eagle). Free afternoon to refresh your weary body in steaming hot springs at your hotel in Arenal. Overnight at Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort or similar. (B,D)
Day 6: Transfer to Manuel Antonio National Park area: Transfer service to Parador Hotel (or similar), located near exuberant Manuel Antonio National Park. This area offers splendid lodges, fine dining and beautiful beaches, such as Playa Manuel Antonio, with its clear inviting waters. Overnight at Parador Hotel or similar. (B)
Day 7: Optional tour at Manuel Antonio: Today enjoy one of the following optional tours (not included in the price): ocean or mangrove Kayaking, visit Manuel Antonio National Park, horseback trekking, deep-sea fishing for marling and other game fish, sailboat cruises. Overnight at Parador Hotel or similar (B).
Day 8: Air transfer to San José: Transfer to local airport for a domestic flight to Juan Santamaría International Airport in Alajuela. You may connect with your international flight or spend an overnight stay in San José. (B)
